In compliant with the Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China and its implementation regulations, the Administrative Measures on the Registration of Overseas Manufacturers of Imported Food (AQSIQ Decree 145) (2012), overseas manufacturers of dairy products (excluding infant formula), infant formula, meat products, aquatic products and edible bird’s nest shall apply for registration before they export food to China.
When the imported food enters, GAC shall inspect whether the overseas manufacturer is registered and whether its registration number is true. The registration will be valid for four years.
